Greg has been involved in sports his whole life. Throughout his childhood he played basketball, baseball, and soccer. Greg actually quit playing soccer because he thought there was "too much running" and then years later went on to run a number of marathons with a PR of 3:14:00. He became familiar with the gym when he would use powerlifting as training for his crew team in high school. Greg was introduced to Crossfit in 2017 through his barber. After initially wanting to use it as a training tool for marathon running, he became hooked and stopped competing in marathons after his 5th. After spending years as a member of the community, which is his favorite thing about Crossfit, Greg joined the coaching staff in 2022. Greg gets great satisfaction from teaching people the proper way to move and helping them along the way to becoming healthier and more fit individuals.
